1. Who We Are

This Privacy Policy applies to MUSE Information Services L.L.C-FZ, registered in Meydan Free Zone, Dubai, UAE, operating the consumer-facing brand MUSE Trendy Toy at https://toys.aimuse.ae/ (the “Site”).

When this policy says “we,” “us,” or “MUSE,” it refers to the company above.

2. Scope

This policy describes how we collect, use, store, share, and protect Personal Data that we obtain through:

• This Site (toys.aimuse.ae) and any subdomain
• WhatsApp business inquiries to +971 55 567 1672
• Email correspondence with our business address
• Order forms, custom-gift briefs, and IP-collaboration proposals you submit to us
• Trade-show meetings, in-person visits to our Dubai warehouse, and B2B retailer onboarding

We comply with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (“UAE PDPL”) and the Executive Regulations issued under it.

3. What Personal Data We Collect

We collect the minimum data needed to fulfill orders and operate the business. Specifically:

• Identity & contact data: name, job title, business email, mobile/WhatsApp number, postal address (for delivery)
• Business data: company name, trade licence number (if you are a registered retailer or corporate gift buyer), VAT registration number, payment terms agreed
• Order data: product selection, quantities, customisation specs, delivery instructions
• Communication data: WhatsApp messages, email threads, meeting notes, design briefs
• Site analytics (minimal): standard HTTP request logs (IP address, user-agent, referrer) collected by GitHub Pages / Cloudflare infrastructure. We do not run third-party tracking or advertising cookies on this Site.

We do not knowingly collect special-category data (health, religion, ethnicity, biometric, financial credentials). Please do not send such information to us.

4. How We Use Your Data

We process Personal Data only for the following purposes:

1. Contract performance — quoting, invoicing, fulfilling, delivering, and supporting your orders
2. Customer service — responding to inquiries, complaints, and warranty/exchange requests
3. Legitimate business interests — supplier coordination, logistics planning, fraud prevention
4. Direct marketing with consent — only if you explicitly opt-in to receive product announcements (you may opt out at any time via reply-STOP on WhatsApp or unsubscribe link in email)
5. Legal compliance — VAT records, customs declarations, UAE tax authority reporting

5. Legal Basis for Processing (UAE PDPL Art. 4–5)

• Performance of a contract (you ordered from us)
• Legitimate interests that do not override your rights (running our distribution business)
• Consent (only for marketing communications, separately and clearly obtained)
• Legal obligation (UAE Commercial Companies Law, tax law, customs)

6. Who We Share Data With

We share Personal Data only when necessary:

• Logistics partners — Aramex, DHL, Emirates Post (for GCC delivery)
• Payment processors — UAE banks or processors handling your invoice payment (we do not store your card details ourselves)
• Manufacturers and suppliers — only the minimum needed to fulfil your custom or co-branded order
• Professional advisors — auditors, legal counsel, bound by confidentiality
• Authorities — when legally required (court order, tax audit, customs inspection)

We never sell your data to third parties for advertising.

7. International Data Transfers

To deliver custom designer toys we transfer order data to manufacturers in China and elsewhere. Under UAE PDPL Article 22, we transfer only when:

• The receiving country has adequate protection, OR
• The transfer is necessary to perform a contract you requested, OR
• You have given explicit consent

We use confidentiality clauses with all supplier partners.

8. How Long We Keep Data

After the retention period, data is securely deleted or anonymised.

9. Your Rights Under UAE PDPL

You have the right to:

• Access the Personal Data we hold about you
• Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data
• Erase your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Restrict processing in certain circumstances
• Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
• Object to processing based on legitimate interests
• Withdraw consent for any marketing communications

10. How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise any right, or to submit a Data Subject Access Request (DSAR), email leon@evplus.ae with:

1. The right you are exercising (access / rectification / erasure / etc.)
2. Sufficient information for us to identify you and your records
3. A copy of your Emirates ID or equivalent ID (we redact it after verification)

We respond within 30 days as required by UAE PDPL.

11. Cookies & Tracking

This Site is a Hugo static site hosted on GitHub Pages. We do not set advertising cookies, behavioural-tracking cookies, or third-party marketing pixels. Standard HTTP server logs (kept by GitHub Pages / Cloudflare infrastructure) include IP and user-agent; these are operational logs only.

12. Children

Our Site and services are aimed at adult B2B buyers and adult consumers. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us data, email leon@evplus.ae and we will delete it.

13. Security

We use commercially reasonable technical and organisational measures: HTTPS-only transit, access controls on customer files, encryption of payment correspondence, no card data stored locally.

14. Changes to This Policy

We post material changes here and update the “Last updated” date above. For material changes, we provide 30 days’ notice before they take effect. Your continued use of the Site after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
